Boot Camp Info
Brisco’s Boot Camp for ACT is a 4-session class to improve ACT scores and help more students qualify for college admission, TOPS, and other scholarships. Students who attend all sessions are more confident and experience less test-anxiety, which allows them to focus on the individual questions and apply given strategies.
This 4 session prep course includes the following:

Time-Management Strategies
Review of commonly tested content
Practice Question/Test Sessions
Complete Sample Test for Independent Practice
Answers to sample tests
Pre-Test Tips
1. Put pencils (2 or more), calculator, test admission ticket, and photo ID near front door the night before.
No pencils or calculators are provided, so make sure you have all materials ready to go. It only adds stress to search for needed items on the morning of the ACT Test.
2. Go to bed at 10 pm the night before the test.
The test begins very early and late entry is not permitted. Additionally, rest is essential to focus and testing stamina. Falling asleep during the test decreases the probability of maximizing your score.
3. Eat a good breakfast.
NOT A BUNCH OF SUGAR - but something that will stick with you through the 3 hours of testing. It’s hard to think on an empty stomach, and this test is too important to let hunger be a factor.
